Our Story

 

Eagle Life Insurance Company® first opened its doors in August 2008.  David Noble, founder of our parent company, recognized the need for a company that understands and focuses on the broker dealer and bank distribution channels. He formed Eagle Life to provide a unique and separate business model to meet the needs of this marketplace.

 

Eagle Life is committed to the consistent delivery of quality products, superior service and strong relationships as we aim to position ourselves as leaders in the financial services industry.  We have successfully created a product line and services tailored specifically for broker dealers and banks.  Eagle Life’s annuity lineup appeals to their representatives that want to meet the needs of their clients; clients who want safety of principal, a competitive return and/or are saving for retirement.

 

Eagle Life was built on the same solid foundation and service excellence as our parent company, American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company®, and with the same core values and business practices that have guided American Equity to successfully grow and evolve into a company with more than $48 Billion* in assets.  With its Broker Dealer Direct program, Eagle Life has taken its distribution model directly to broker dealers and banks to offer very competitive interest crediting strategies for their clients.

 

As Eagle Life continues to gain momentum, we are finalizing distribution strategies with many new business partners and implementing new technology to provide expedited business processing for our contract owners and distribution partners.
